Change in Editorship of Italian Americana

We are pleased to inform all loyal subscribers and contributors to Italian Americana that the journal has found a new home and will continue to publish without interruption.  The winter edition 2016 of the journal will be printed in cooperation with Youngstown State University, and effective immediately donations and subscriptions can be forwarded to:

Carla Simonini teaches Italian language and literature as well as a course on Italian-American identity in the American Studies program and one on Italian American literature in the English Department at Youngstown State University, where she is an assistant professor.  She holds an M.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Rhode Island and a Ph.D. in Italian Studies from Brown University.

Carol Bonomo Albright, the journal’s founder and retiring editor-in-chief, will be providing her with guidance to facilitate this transition, and a number of the journal’s reviewers and section editors have indicated their willingness to continue in their roles.  We are confident that with such support Italian Americana will continue to publish innovative scholarly and creative works related to the Italian experience in the New World.

Subscription costs willl remain the same for 2016:
