Italian Americana is seeking scholarly and creative submissions for its Summer 2017 issue. Scholarly articles in any discipline related to the topic of the Italian experience in America are welcomed. Italian Americana is a double-blind peer-review journal that has previously published the works of scholars such as Donna Gabaccia and Stefano Luconi. If submitting a creative work, the writer must be of Italian American heritage (on either side of the family). We welcome poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction on any topic. Past contributors to the journal’s creative writing section include Dana Gioia, Sandra Gilbert, Peter Covino and Kim Addonizio. The deadline for submitting to the Summer 2017 issue in any genre is April 1, 2017. .
