Italian Americana is heading to Chicago!

Effective November 2018 Italian Americana will have a new home at Loyola University Chicago, where it will serve to support the scholarly and creative mission of the university’s program in Italian American Studies. Our editor-in-chief, Carla A. Simonini, has been hired to serve as the founding director and endowed professor of the newly inaugurated interdisciplinary program, which was made possible through a major fund-raising campaign spearheaded by Casa Italia, a cultural center and former seminary campus devoted to preserving Italian American history, and a pledge on the part of Loyola to match the funds raised and host the program alongside of the university’s other innovative interdisciplinary programs.

Our submission guidelines and subscription rates will remain the same. Our new mailing address is:
